Overview
Cambodia's e-Visa lets eligible travelers apply for a standard 30-day, single-entry tourist visa entirely online at evisa.gov.kh, skipping the Visa on Arrival queue at the airport (which can run 30–60 minutes at peak times). You fill in the form, upload a passport scan and photo, and pay by card — approval typically arrives by email within 3 business days.

The e-Visa is not available for nationals of Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Sudan or Sri Lanka — check the current eligible-country list on the official portal.
Documents checklist
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date, with at least one blank page
- Clear digital scan of your passport's bio-data page
- Recent passport-style photo, plain white background, roughly 4×6cm digitally, covering your passport's ICAO lines if uploaded as part of the bio page scan
- Valid email address to receive your e-Visa approval certificate
- Credit or debit card for online payment
Step-by-step application process
1. Confirm you're on evisa.gov.kh
Only apply on the official government portal — not a lookalike commercial site.
2. Choose Tourist or Business e-Visa
Start a new application and select the correct category.
3. Complete the form
Enter your personal and passport details accurately — matching your passport exactly.
4. Upload your photo and passport scan
Upload both files meeting the specification above.
5. Pay online
Pay the government fee by credit or debit card.
6. Download your approval and print two copies
Bring printed copies to present at immigration on arrival.
7. Complete the e-Arrival card separately
Register your arrival details, health declaration and customs form at arrival.gov.kh before you travel.
