Overview
Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs runs e-Konsulat, an online system for completing the Schengen visa application form and, in many locations, booking your appointment. You fill in the form yourself, then submit it and give biometrics in person at a Polish consulate or an outsourced Visa Application Centre, depending on your country of residence. As with every Schengen state, the in-person step is an EU biometrics requirement — it doesn't mean you need to pay someone else to apply for you.

Documents checklist
- Passport valid at least 3 months beyond your Schengen departure, issued within the last 10 years, with 2 blank pages
- Completed application generated through e-Konsulat, printed and signed
- Biometric photo, 35×45mm, white background
- Travel/health insurance valid across Schengen, minimum €30,000
- Round-trip flight reservation and proof of accommodation
- Bank statements showing sufficient funds
- Evidence of ties to your home country
Step-by-step application process
1. Confirm Poland is your main destination
Apply where you'll spend the most time, or your first point of entry if travel is split evenly.
2. Register on e-Konsulat
Complete the application form online and generate your appointment booking where available.
3. Gather your documents
Assemble everything from the checklist above.
4. Attend your appointment
Submit documents and biometrics at the consulate or designated VAC for your location.
5. Pay the fee
Pay the standard Schengen fee (around €90) at your appointment.
6. Track your application
Standard processing is around 15 calendar days.
